As our Technical Copywriter, you’ll create, structure, and manage high-quality content that effectively communicates PassiveLogic’s cutting-edge innovations to a diverse audience, including industry experts, tech enthusiasts, customers, and potential partners.
What you’ll do
Write High-Quality Technical Content: Develop clear, concise, and user-friendly product documentation, user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, and FAQs for a variety of audiences, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Enhance user experience through thoughtful UI/UX copywriting: Collaborate with designers and developers to create intuitive and user-friendly microcopy, onboarding experiences, and contextual help.
Simplify Complex Technical Information: Simplify complex technical details into accessible, user-friendly content that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Design Visually Appealing Layouts: Create engaging and aesthetically pleasing type layouts for both digital and print materials that align with brand guidelines and enhance readability.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with designers, developers, engineers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration of copy into products and maintain consistency across technical content.

You must have
- Proven experience: 3+ years of experience as a technical writer with a strong portfolio showcasing technical copywriting, UI/UX copywriting, and marketing copywriting.
- Exceptional communication skills: Ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging copy for technical documentation, digital experiences, and product marketing.
- Organized and strategic: Skilled in creating content guidelines that serve as the foundation for clear product documentation, while breaking down complex, long-term projects into actionable short-term deliverables.
- Collaborative mindset: Ability to work closely with product designers, developers, engineers, and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of quality copy.
- Adaptability: Comfortable writing for both technical and non-technical audiences, eager to learn, iterate, and innovate in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem solving: Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage and organize complex content. You own this role. When issues arise, be the empowered force that solves them, rolling up when needed.
You should have
- Passion for creating user-centered copy: A genuine enthusiasm for crafting clear, concise copy that simplifies complex information and enhances the user experience.
- Experience with complex technical products: Proven ability to translate intricate technical details into approachable, user-friendly content.
- Skill with typography: A fluency for how words should flow and breathe on a screen or page.
- Expertise in content strategy and UX writing: Deep understanding of how content strategy and UX writing principles can improve both product clarity and overall user satisfaction.
- Excellent time management and multitasking Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong interest in technology: A strong curiosity about AI, autonomous systems, and the energy sector, with the ability to translate technical concepts into engaging stories.
- Ability to collaborate with engineers, developers and designers: Experience working in cross-functional teams to refine product messaging.
It’s helpful to have
- Basic understanding of front-end development: Familiarity with how content integrates with digital interfaces.
- Content optimization & customer service platform experience: Knowledge of SEO best practices for optimizing content and increasing visibility, along with experience using platforms like Zendesk to improve communication and user experience.
- Sustainability & technology interest: A passion for sustainability, automation, and smart technologies, with an interest in staying updated on industry trends.
- Autonomous systems & AI experience: Experience in promoting autonomous systems or AI technologies, and the ability to translate complex technical features into clear marketing content.
