IT & Data Protection Specialist (SLC, UT)
Serve as Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for Data Protection, overseeing implementation and monitoring of data security controls and privacy safeguards on MacOS enterprise system. Implement and monitor security controls, access management, logging, encryption, and backup systems using Vanta, Rapid7, Box, Orca, Bitwarden and Entra-ID. Support SOC 2 and GDPR compliance initiatives, including audit preparation and evidence documentation. Manage and administer core identity and collaboration systems, including Active Directory, MS Exchange, Box, and Jamf Pro platforms. Oversee software and hardware licensing, renewals, vendor coordination, and compliance tracking to ensure regulatory and contractual adherence. Design, integrate, document, and continuously improve IT systems, automation, monitoring aligned with organizational goals. Provide technical administration, support and secure configuration of business and productivity tools, including ClickUp, Daylite CRM, iWork, Gitlab, and Apple Business Manager, ensuring data integrity and policy compliance. Develop and maintain IT security policies, procedures, risk assessments, and internal documentation related to governance and regulatory compliance.
Requires: Master’s Degree in Information Systems, 1 year of experience in Information Systems Engineering, and proficiency with Bash, Entra-ID, Bitwarden, Gitlab, Unifi and MS Exchange administration, Box, Jamf, ClickUp, Daylite CRM, iWork, MacOS and Apple Business Manager.
