About the Role
This is a career-defining opportunity to play a crucial role in a hyper-scale AI company that is transforming the future of autonomous systems, energy, and the built environment.
Virtual Environment Developer empowers you to create dynamic, immersive spaces that solve real-world challenges, from energy optimization to sustainable design in built environments. This role combines innovative technology with practical applications, positioning you as a pioneer in shaping smarter, more efficient systems that impact industries and everyday life.
As a Virtual Environment Developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of autonomous systems by developing the Virtual World µService and Test frameworks. These frameworks are critical to validating the Hive Controller’s ability to make intelligent, reliable control decisions across a wide range of scenarios. By simulating weather patterns, occupant behaviors, and executing control decisions within a virtual simulation of a building, you will drive advancements in predictive modeling and decision-making, redefining what is possible in building automation.
What you’ll do
Designing virtual world test environment: Create a functional, and scalable test bed using Quantum Digital Twins and PassiveLogic’s simulators to test and validate control pathfinder in various test scenarios.
Designing hardware-in-the-loop test environment: Extend the virtual world test bed to interact with in-house test lab to validate control pathfinder against actual configurable system.
Integration: Create and integrate a variety of microservices sensors and control data from PassiveLogic’s deployed Hive Controller systems, that are representative of an actual physical instance.
User interaction: Infrastructure to generate test matrix of various scenarios including different weather conditions, various occupant behavior patterns, different buildings and systems. Develop an Infrastructure to generate cases for fuzz testing, add sensor noise, and model disturbances.
Test database: interaction with relational database for storing test scenarios and test data.
Collaboration: Conduct an in-depth analysis of the collected data, identifying patterns, insights, and anomalies that can influence the system's performance. Collaborate with the AI, Formal Methods, and Digital Twins team to provide refinement ideas to improve the performance of the HiveController and the overall models used in deployed buildings.
Presentation of Findings: Communicate complex data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This includes creating visualizations, reports, and presentations.
