Platform Embedded Software Engineer

PassiveLogic is looking for a highly motivated and dedicated Platform Embedded Software Engineer who wants to work on a groundbreaking product ecosystem and has a strong background in embedded C.
What you will be doing:
The Platform Embedded Software Engineer will be designing, developing and maintaining embedded software / firmware for key components of PassiveLogic's ecosystem:
The Sense Touch - one of the world’s smallest touchscreen multi-sensor that brings together beautiful industrial design with actionable insights with eight sensors that monitor air temperature, radiant temperature, humidity, indoor air quality, atmospheric pressure, light intensity, occupancy, and sound pressure.
The Hive Mini - extends autonomous platforms to remote I/O, providing distributed control and a digital twin gateway for wired and wireless IoT devices.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement software and firmware for our groundbreaking embedded platforms that is robust, functional, power-efficient, and feature-rich
Define, manage, and run software releases
Work with platform architects, product management, and product design to architect and implement new features from concept to productization
Ensure platform robustness with a structured and efficient approach to bug management

You must have:
- Strong proficiency in C
- 3+ years of software engineering experience required, though 5+ years preferred
You should have:
- Shipped an embedded product
- Experience leading teams
- RTOS experience
- Embedded Linux experience
It’s helpful to have
- BS, MS, or PhD in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other Engineering degrees
- Experience working in a startup
- Knowledge of Tegra
- Swift language development experience
- Relevant personal projects
- Experience with wireless protocols (Zigbee, BLE, Wifi)
